The Beating Summer Heat

It was July and the sun was doing it's best to turn the ground into lava and the air into sweat. Walking into Hamilton Place was refreshing. The air was nice as I setup the pop-up stand in between Buckle and Belk. The quiet mornings were perfect to setup and start the day. There were no winds to blow things away, no rain to ruin the paper, and best of all, no heat to melt my coloring tools. The days were comfortable and so were our guests that month. We got to share a lot of laughs with new faces from both locals and visitors. The end of the month seemed to come far too fast and I was back out in the blazing sun.

Back For The Cold

Now that autumn is officially upon us, the weather is (thankfully) going to be cooling down. Our weekend markets will be closing for the cold winter and we don't want that to stop the fun just yet. It's been a desire of mine for years to try a holiday setup in a mall and this year we're making that happen. Starting October 18th, we'll be back at Hamilton Place drawing up caricatures with the benefit of not freezing our little fingers into a still life. We are so happy that Hamilton Place is having us back and even more excited that we get to extend our availability to you!
